I am not sure if I did something incredibly stupid or something smart. See, the story goes this way, last sunday an old classmate of mine called me to come over to her house. She's married you see, and just recently aquired a house with her husband. I havent seen her for years and am excited to see her again so I said yes, I would love to go over this coming saturday. And thats when she came up with this killer line.

"marina, feel free to bring along your boyfriend" To which I laughingly said, I didnt have one.

And she said to me in an incredulous tone "You DONT have a boyfriend? You're twenty-bleeping years. You KNOW I dont believe you" I just chuckled and laughed and carefully avoided answering that ...

I've always been a very happy go lucky person when it comes to relationships. If it comes it comes, and if it doesnt, then I wont go about moaning about why I dont have a guy. Whatever it s, I'm pretty much bochup (heck care in chinese) about it all.

But that comment kind of got me going, with my grandma commenting about her wanting grandkids *chuckles* and me mum wanting to matchmake me (HA!) So it got me thinking, that I should get me a non-date just to pose as my bf to get them all off my back a lil bit. Anyways, life is too short to be nervous and not try to find out the what-ifs. Anyways, its always a good thing to get to know more people in the friendship pool.

So I registered myself at a few dating personal sites (despo huh? hahaha) and waited. And I got some replies in my inbox, and I thought, oooh kewlies ... But unfortunately, there isnt anyone who are a. 10 years => my age or b. in the same country as me. Interestingly, I noted that most of the person who sent me a "virtual kiss"are from USA and above 40. Hmm .. wonder what the demographic entails...

Its almost saturday, the day when I would be meeting my ex classmate. With no one to show off. I guess I just might have to post an ad in the paper or stick it at the train station ad post.

"Female, Malay, 20+, slim and sarcastic, looking for a patient guy to be a one time poser bf,
must be confident and good at lying (coughs) I mean give a good impression. Preferably 25 and above. Please apply here"

You know, thats such a crazy idea ... it just might work ...

And by the way, I'm KIDDING! *chuckles* I dont think I would put up a notice like that, I'm just too meek and demure and shy But anyways, I love my friends and my granma and mom And I do respect them and I know that they just want the best for me. I understand that. I just wish that it was easier for relationships. So many complications, heartaches ... but thats life ... about searching and learning. When it happens, it happens :]
